Our Promises to You

  • We promise to be as knowledgeable as possible. We promise that we will constantly study and be up to date on state laws, bulletins, addendums, companies, underwriting guidelines, company contracts, and all things insurance. Continuing Education is mandated every two years by the state and departments of insurance, but continuing education is a part of our everyday routine. When we are the most knowledgeable and competent at what we do, it’s our clients that win.

  • We promise to never lie or give you some cookie-cutter answer to your questions. If we do not know the answer to a question you may have, we will kindly and politely tell you that we don’t know, and we will go find the answer. When our clients are ill-informed, it’s our clients who lose.

  • We promise to always be at least one step ahead. You should not need to call us because you found a problem. We should be the ones calling you. As your agent, our job is to handle your insurance matters and to take the best possible care of you and your family’s insurance needs. If we fail to do this, then we have failed to do our job. If you are always having to handle your own insurance matters and are always having to call us to do our job, what is the point in having an agent?

  • We promise to always treat you with respect and give you the professional courtesy you deserve.

  • We will never sell you a product with a company that may not be a good fit for your needs to favor our own financial incentive or interests. It’s the coverages you need at the price that is affordable to you not the coverages you need at the commission and profit-sharing that is best for us.

  • We will never secretly cut coverages, while telling you that our quote has those coverages built in, to win the price war.

  • We promise to never skimp on coverages or write a fraudulent policy so we can wiggle out of any claim you may have. Most insurance agents receive profit-sharing checks when their book is at a certain value or higher. Losses and loss ratios can lessen the value of a profit-sharing check. In some cases, if the losses or loss ratios are too high, the agent will lose their whole profit-sharing check. We promise to keep your needs and best interests ahead of our own.

  • We will never push you into any product or company. It is actually illegal for us to do so. We respect your consumer rights and all laws that regulate consumer experiences. We promise to not only respect your rights as a consumer, but to educate you on your rights that you may not have even knew you had.

  • We promise to always stay in touch. We will not sell to you and forget about you. Renewal notices typically are issued 30-45 days before your renewal. We will discuss your insurance package and rates with you on your time.

  • We promise that in the event of a claim or loss, we will be by your side from start to finish. We will be there to help keep you calm and put your mind at ease while guiding you through the claims process.

  • We promise that we will fight for you if the insurance company wants to deny your claim or skimp on your claim’s payout.

  • We promise that you will not be alone.

  • We promise to give you the best insurance experience possible.

What clients say about

Brown Family Insurance & Financial Services

Hands down the BEST insurance agency I have ever had! I called the office at 11pm tonight after checking the status of an accident I was in last month and had some questions. When I got off the phone all my questions had been answered and my mind put at ease, they have always taken care of all my insurance needs promptly and it is greatly appreciated!

Kent has been my agent for years now and always done a fantastic job. His in-depth knowledge of various laws across several states allows him to best serve his clients in situations where most companies would fold on you. Excellent man all around!
